Apprenticeship in Site Carpentry NVQ Level 2 Diploma

Course Outline:

This qualification is aimed at those who work as Bench Joiners and those who work with Bench Joinery. The standards cover the most important aspects of the job. This qualification is at Level 2 and should be taken by those who are fully trained to deal with routine assignments.

Candidates should require minimum supervision in undertaking the job. For information on grants, please contact Construction Training Specialists Ltd. Achievement of this qualification provides opportunities to progress to further qualifications and training such as:

Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Wood Occupations – Architectural Joinery, Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision.

As part of your apprenticeship you will also:
  • Work towards your Level 2 Diploma in Bench Joinery
  • Work towards your NVQ Level 2 in Bench Joinery
  • Work towards your Functional Skills (if required)
  • Work towards the Employer Rights and Responsibilities qualification (ERR)
  • Work towards your Personal Learning Thinking Skills (PLTS)
